Andrew obtained his LLB at the University of Johannesburg and qualified as an attorney in 2010.
Andrew has successfully completed matters in each province of the High Court, the Supreme Court of Appeal, the Constitutional Court, Equality Court, Labour Court and CMMA, Consumer Tribunal, Competition Commission, the Press Ombudsman, Press Appeals Tribunal, BCCSA and appeals, Insurance Ombudsman, Internet Service Provider Association, Premier Soccer League and SAFA hearings, Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors, South African Veterinary Council, private mediation and local and international arbitration. With extensive experience in litigation, commercial law, media law and dispute resolution.

Why am I being requested to enter into a mandate and fee agreement and provide personal documents?
In order to establish an attorney and client relationship, it is compulsory for a client to enter into a written mandate agreement with a law firm. As a registered law firm, we are required to comply with the provisions of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (“FICA”).
We are an accountable institution in terms of FICA and are required to comply with FICA. To be compliant means that we need to establish and verify your identity in accordance with the requirements of FICA.
The mandate and fee agreement sets out the terms and conditions under which we render professional legal services to our clients.
To establish an attorney/client-relationship, a client is required to complete and sign the mandate and fee agreement.
